About Denver Regenerative Medicine
Denver Regenerative Medicine, a locally owned and operated clinic, has been a prominent provider of advanced regenerative medicine and hormone replacement therapy in the Denver area since 2012. Founded by Dr. Joel Cherdack, the clinic operates with a core philosophy of “do no harm,” prioritizing non-surgical and natural healing methods to restore patients to their optimal health. With a flagship location in Denver's Governor's Park neighborhood and additional offices in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction, the clinic has established itself as a trusted choice for patients across the Front Range. The clinic’s mission is to provide cutting-edge, personalized treatments that address the root causes of pain and dysfunction, rather than just masking symptoms. They specialize in helping active individuals in the high-altitude Colorado environment overcome the unique challenges of healing in a low-oxygen climate. By concentrating the body's own healing factors, their protocols are designed to bridge the gap where traditional therapies may fall short. Denver Regenerative Medicine is committed to the highest ethical standards, holding an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and prides itself on providing honest medical advice without high-pressure sales tactics. Denver Regenerative Medicine offers a range of specialized treatments tailored to individual patient needs. Their core modalities focus on precision biologics for joint preservation, including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC). PRP therapy is utilized for conditions such as tennis elbow, rotator cuff tendinopathy, and mild to moderate knee arthritis, concentrating platelets to release growth factors that signal tissue repair. For more severe degeneration, BMAC is employed to modulate inflammation and preserve joint function, often helping patients delay or avoid major surgery like total knee replacement.
The clinic also offers innovative therapies like acCELLerate™, which combines stem cell therapy with PRP to enhance efficacy, and REjuvenate™, a synergistic blend of stem cell and hormone replacement therapies to combat the effects of aging and hormonal imbalances. The clinic’s approach is distinguished by its use of image-guided precision. Every procedure is performed using high-resolution ultrasound or fluoroscopy to ensure that biologics are delivered with millimeter-level accuracy to the site of injury. This commitment to precision maximizes the potential for successful outcomes and sets them apart from clinics that use “blind injection” techniques. The medical team, led by Dr. Joel Cherdack, is dedicated to building long-term relationships with patients, many of whom return for maintenance treatments to support their active lifestyles. The facilities at Denver Regenerative Medicine are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including centrifuges for concentrating biologics and advanced imaging equipment for guided injections. The in-office procedures are performed under local anesthesia, providing a safe and comfortable experience for patients. The patient experience is central to the clinic's ethos. From the initial free consultation to post-treatment follow-up, the team provides comprehensive support and education. They take the time to explain what regenerative medicine can and cannot do for each specific condition, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health. The clinic’s multiple locations and flexible scheduling, including online booking, make it convenient for patients to access care. By offering a viable alternative to invasive surgery and a path to a pain-free, active life, Denver Regenerative Medicine has become a beacon of hope for those seeking to reclaim their vitality and continue enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado is known for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Stem cell therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that uses your body's own stem cells to repair and regenerate damaged tissue. At Denver Regenerative Medicine, we harvest stem cells from your bone marrow or adipose (fat) tissue. These cells are then concentrated and injected directly into the injured area under image guidance. The stem cells then go to work, reducing inflammation, promoting healing, and encouraging the growth of new, healthy tissue.
We use stem cell therapy to treat a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, shoulder, and other joints; ligament and tendon injuries such as rotator cuff tears, Achilles tendonitis, and ACL/MCL tears; and chronic back and neck pain. It is a non-surgical alternative for many patients who have been told they need joint replacement surgery.
Stem cell therapy is a very safe procedure because it uses your own body's cells, which eliminates the risk of rejection or allergic reaction. The procedure is performed in our office under local anesthesia. As with any injection, there is a small risk of infection, bleeding, or nerve damage at the injection site. Our experienced medical team takes every precaution to minimize these risks.
Most patients begin to experience pain relief and improved function within 4-6 weeks of the procedure, with continued improvement over the next several months as the tissues heal and regenerate. The results of stem cell therapy can be long-lasting, with many patients experiencing relief for several years. The longevity of the results depends on the severity of the condition, the patient's overall health, and their adherence to post-procedure rehabilitation protocols.
The cost of stem cell therapy varies depending on the condition being treated and the specific protocol used. Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not currently cover stem cell therapy as it is still considered an investigational treatment. We offer a free consultation to determine if you are a candidate and to discuss the costs and payment options available to you.
The best way to determine if you are a good candidate for stem cell therapy is to schedule a free consultation with one of our board-certified physicians. In general, good candidates are those with mild to moderate osteoarthritis, chronic tendon or ligament injuries, or other musculoskeletal conditions that have not responded to conservative treatments like physical therapy or cortisone injections. Patients who are in good overall health and are motivated to participate in their recovery process typically have the best outcomes.
