Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center (ADSCC) is a renowned healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), specializing in advanced stem cell therapy, research, and regenerative medicine. ADSCC features state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced laboratories, cell processing laboratory, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) laboratory, apheresis and stem cell collection units, and a multi-disciplinary hospital with dedicated outpatient clinics and inpatient wards. Our comprehensive model covers research, clinical trials, and applications, eliminating the need for patients to seek treatment abroad. ADSCC is the incubator of the Abu Dhabi Bone Marrow Transplant (AD-BMT©) program, the first comprehensive program to provide autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cells transplant (HSCT) for adult and pediatric patients in the UAE since 2020. As a Center of Excellence in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation accredited by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, ADSCC’s holistic service model includes advanced research, clinical trials, translational care, and manufacturing capabilities. As the UAE’s first and most experienced stem cell transplant center, ADSCC has received multiple prestigious recognitions and conducted strategic collaborations, solidifying its position as a center of excellence. From its inception, ADSCC has consistently achieved groundbreaking milestones, establishing itself as a leader in R&D and translational research. In 2020, they conducted a COVID-19 Clinical Trial and the first Bone Marrow Transplantation for Cancer (Multiple Myeloma). In 2021, they initiated clinical trials for Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes, and were recognized as a Center of Excellence in Apheresis and ECP procedures, Flow Cytometry, and Mass Cytometry. In 2022, they performed the first Bone Marrow Transplant for Multiple Sclerosis case in the region and were awarded the Pharmacogenomics National Flagship Program by DoH Abu Dhabi. In 2023, they achieved Center of Excellence status in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, launched Adult Stem Cell Banking, and performed the UAE’s first CAR-T Cell Manufacturing for an 11-year-old boy diagnosed with Leukemia. They also launched Cord Blood & Tissue Banking & Donation, participated in a joint international clinical trial for the use of neural stem cells for MS, and established an ADSCC laboratory at Kyoto University campus in Japan. In 2024, ADSCC became the first accredited institute in the UAE by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and received the JCI Gold Seal of Approval.
